Merry giveaway: I Love Mr. Mittens

I Love Mr. Mittens and if you do too, I’m about to make your Christmas ever merrier!

Let’s start at the beginning: I discovered I Love Mr. Mittens through Instagram, the same way Stéphanie Caulier launched her label btw = respect! I saw this lovely cozy knitwear popping up on the beautiful photo’s of Zanita Morgan, top Aussie blogger, and our own beloved Tiany Kiriloff. What’s that fashion knitwear label with the cute name that makes me think of a fat fluffy cat? Who’s involved? Where do I get it? And then I bumped into Marijs from Rooftop Antics wearing a radiant yellow I Love Mr. Mittens The Ribble beanie, she bought it at the Antwerp pop-up shop. That’s it! I had to go and check it out. As by magic, that same week, I won an I Love Mr. Mittens beanie through one of Stéphanie’s Instagram giveaways. A sign from the wool gods!

I went to pick up my beanie at the I Love Mr. Mittens pop-up shop in Antwerp, fell in love with the black Mr. Big beanie and all the rest of the collection, oh yes.
Stéphanie and I decided to share my merry enthusiasm for the brand with you guys, and host a giveaway! More on that at the bottom of this post.

Now first, more on the story of how it all started:

Stéphanie is an Antwerp girl, who’s been living in Australia for over 3 years now. She followed the love of her life there and decided to start up her own knitwear label. You see, she has been knitting for as long as she can remember, for as long as she can hold knitting needled actually, so this came as a natural thing to her. Best part, her boyfriend travels a lot for work, so she can follow her love around the world and easily take her business with her. As long as there’s wool and needles, she’s happy. Stéphanie was in Antwerp for a couple of weeks to visit her family and decided to start-up a pop-up shop. Sad to say that’s over now and she’ll soon be heading back to Australia. But don’t get desperate! All of her wool creations are also available via the I Love Mr. Mittens online shop.

My heart gets all merry when people follow there passion and turn it into there daily life. A big thumbs up for Stéphanie in finding a new and original way to bring knitwear back, the way it was supposed to be: handmade, chunky and warm, in every way possible. Definitely Heartworking Knitwear.
