Meet my new favorite designer bag label from my hometown, Antwerp: Hendrickx Bags.
To quote Geraldine Hendrickx , the designer:

“A handbag is so much more than an accessory. It travels with you. Wearing a bag, this bag becomes you. We collect everyday things and keep them in our bag. It’s like a diary composed by little findings.
So tired of always walking around with bags that screamed out their brand. I needed my own blank canvas. A bag that could grow with me. Made with beautiful materials and with lots of love and care.” Hendrickx bags was born.

Geraldine is a 26 year old stylish women from Antwerp. After studying Product Design and Graphic Design, she decided to follow her heart and start-up her own label: Hendrickx Bags. As a girl with a passion for fashion, she never seemed to find a bag to go along with her style. So why not create it herself? The adventure started in 2009 when she designed her first bag and helped put it together at a small leather manufacturer in Morocco.
Now, 5 years later she just launched her Black Collection: a collection of timeless, elegant, black bags.
My favorite? The Charlotte bag, a perfect daily carry-all bag with just the right dose of style! And I love the details, like the gold en silver stud on the logo, mixing metals is all the rage these days! And the key hanger and small bags on the inside, they help me organize my bag mess…
